■Job Description You will primarily be responsible for the following tasks, working in cooperation with the R&D Manager, Deputy Manager, and other group managers, to acquire, promote, and manage research and development projects dealing with numerical AI (prediction and optimization), and to strengthen the organizational structure: * Jointly direct, manage, and evaluate a group of approximately 10 members with one other leader. * Collaborate with sales members to understand client needs and propose research and development projects to clients. * Maintain an overview and manage the status of multiple individual projects (approximately 5) managed by individual project leaders. (Decision-making regarding additions/reductions of personnel, materials, and funds / Delegation/intervention in project promotion tasks) * Provide guidance and training to group members (especially project leaders). (*Please note that practical coding work is not expected. We expect you to be able to provide technical advice from a high-level perspective.)
Ideal Profile
Required Skills • Advanced expertise in all aspects of machine learning • Expertise in either mathematical optimization or numerical prediction, with 5+ years of practical experience • Problem understanding through data analysis, EDA, feature extraction, and appropriate model selection • Implementation experience in Python, R, C++, etc. • Project management experience • English proficiency sufficient for basic communication in 1-on-1 meetings and performance reviews with non-native Japanese speakers (目安: TOEIC 720 or higher) • Native-level Japanese proficiency Preferred Skills • Experience submitting, presenting, and peer-reviewing papers at international conferences/domestic and international journals • PhD • Activity record in academic societies in the field of machine learning • Experience in patent creation/intellectual property strategy planning Desired Candidate Profile • Someone who resonates with our company's vision and mission • Deep knowledge and academic insight into AI • Someone who can propose solutions not only to existing problems but also to unknown problems • A PhD-holding researcher who can appropriately explain things to clients as the central figure of the team and project

Phd. Stating Salary
Annual salary: ¥6,000,000 - ¥10,000,000 * The above amount includes deemed overtime pay for 25 hours per month.
