We are engaged in various research.
■Recruitment type
We are recruiting "speech recognition and sound processing algorithm researchers" who will work on next-generation technology research to solve various problems related to acoustics and speech recognition.
[Business details]
・Application of acoustic model/language model adaptation, End-to-end model, diarization, Kaldi/ESPnet in speech recognition
・Time-series signal processing, voice enhancement, and noise reduction work in acoustic processing
・Strategy planning for acoustic/speech recognition research in collaboration with Honda group companies and sister companies
In the future, as a team leader, I hope that he will be able to formulate strategies in this field, propose new technologies and research themes, manage projects, provide guidance to team members and junior colleagues, collaborate with internal and external experts to build networks, and make external presentations.
[Characteristics of the job]

We will actively conduct research and make recommendations, including presenting our own papers. You will be able to take advantage of your experience and knowledge to propose research directions, goals, approaches, plans, etc., and work on challenging tasks.
・Speech recognition algorithms (acoustic model, language model, end-to-end model, diarization, etc.)
・Sound processing algorithms (time-series signal processing, voice enhancement, noise reduction, etc.)
・Machine learning algorithms related to the above (deep learning, etc.)
Based on Honda's common philosophy that ``technology is for people,'' we aim to be unique in the world by leveraging our experience and knowledge to lead research and development with a sense of speed and innovative ideas. After grasping the latest trends in the acoustic and speech recognition field and clarifying the value of the technical research that should be undertaken, we will proactively promote research into next-generation acoustic and speech recognition algorithms.
We also aim for higher results through rapid prototyping, experimentation, analysis, and feedback, with specific application fields and users in mind. We will actively disseminate research results obtained through international conferences, papers, etc., and will be responsible for improving our company's presence.
Proceed as a research project under the direction of the Research Division Manager (Department: Research Division).
Research projects are proposed by researchers themselves, including their content and budget, and are launched upon board approval.
