■ Job Description - Development of image analysis algorithms in the medical and life science fields, etc. - Some data analysis work other than image analysis is also required. - Research and consideration of related algorithms, design and invention of new algorithms, and implementation of them. - Technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders. - Presentation of research and development results at academic conferences and publication of papers. * There is a possibility of changing to company-defined duties depending on aptitude.
Ideal Profile
Required Skills * At least six months of practical development experience using Python * Proven track record of analyzing image data and signal data * Development experience related to image analysis, machine learning, and deep learning ┗ Environment is not specified, including work at a general company, research at a university, or self-study * Ability to read and understand machine learning and image processing-related papers (in English) * Ability to define requirements that satisfy internal and external stakeholders * Communication skills ┗ Ability to explain technical content to clients in simple terms ┗ For non-native Japanese speakers, JLPT N1 or equivalent Japanese language proficiency is required Preferred Skills * Experience in establishing a machine learning data utilization platform * Broad knowledge and experience in machine learning in general, not limited to deep learning * Experience in developing data analysis software for various modalities ┗ Digital cameras, optical microscopes, electron microscopes, security cameras, drones, radiation, MRI, CT, ultrasound, etc. * Knowledge and experience in life sciences ┗ Regardless of whether it's plants, animals, or humans, we have expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, ecology, genetics, etc. * Practical knowledge and experience in multiple programming languages * Extensive knowledge of computer science and programming * Medical knowledge, especially practical knowledge of radiographic images, MRI, CT data, and clinical settings * Master's or PhD in a natural science field * Publications and conference presentations on related topics Desired Candidate Profile * Strong interest in life sciences (pharmaceuticals and medicine) * Logical thinking skills, the ability to organize tasks and methods of execution, and to execute them independently * The ability to collaborate with team members and solve problems through positive discussions

Phd. Stating Salary
Annual salary: ¥6,000,000 - ¥10,000,000 *Includes discretionary work allowance of 2 hours per day x 21 days *If the number of scheduled working days in a month is 22 or more, an additional discretionary work allowance of 2 hours per day will be paid. *Night shift allowance will be paid for work performed between 10 PM and 5 AM the following morning. *Salary may vary as it will be determined according to company regulations, taking into account experience, abilities, skills, etc.
