This position will serve as both IT Governance Leader and Corporate Governance Leader. You will propose strategic directions for IT systems and implement plans approved by the board. [Job Details] - Formulating corporate IT strategies, from planning to post-implementation evaluation, improvement, and operation - Maintaining and managing security collaboration with the Honda Group and inter-group networks - Improving and operating governance systems across all corporate activities Specifically, - Formulating and promoting IT investment strategies - Implementing and managing research infrastructure systems such as GPU servers - Comprehensive improvement and management of the internal network environment - Managing SaaS (AWS/Github/Atlassian/Office365/Box/Slack, etc.) - Improving and operating confidentiality management systems and regulations - Establishing and operating an internal approval system - Maintaining and managing the internal approval system, etc. Your mission is to support cutting-edge AI research activities and accelerate research while maintaining a high level of IT system security and compliance. You will align the organization's research and IT strategies and effectively manage and operate IT resources. You will also support efficient goal achievement through risk management and compliance assurance. Department: Administration Division (6 people, including accounting and labor) The IT team is led by this position and has three contractors working under it. - Approximately half of our employees are foreign nationals, creating a highly international workplace. Communication within the company is conducted daily in both Japanese and English. - We have sister companies in the United States and Europe (Germany), and we are developing research projects in collaboration with these three regions. The IT department also works in collaboration with these three regions to support research and facilitate global information sharing. - We provide researchers with considerable discretion and encourage them to actively present their research results. What we especially look for in a PhD or postdoctoral fellow

For this position, it is important that you have not only knowledge of IT systems but also an understanding of basic research, and we especially expect PhD graduates (including prospective PhD graduates) to deepen their understanding of our company's research in a broad range and continue to learn.
