The Life Design Division aims to create three types of value: "social value," "economic value," and "value provided to consumers" by addressing social issues through new businesses. In the era of 100-year lifespans, we are creating new solutions using technology in collaboration with industry, government, and academia partners to create a society where everyone, from children to the elderly, can live healthy and active lives. <Projects we are currently focusing on> In April 2023, we will formulate and promote business concepts associated with the launch of Total Future Healthcare Co., Ltd. (TFH), which was spun off from E-Solutions, as well as proceed with various tasks associated with the launch of the new company. ■What is Total Future Healthcare? A health tech startup company that was spun off from E-Solutions in April 2023 and is working on "early detection of sudden changes" and "early detection of mild symptoms." "Early detection of sudden illness" targets three sudden illnesses that often lead to death/onset at home, and "early detection of mild illness" targets eight diseases with many latent patients and a high rate of undiagnosed diseases. We aim to reduce medical and nursing care costs in Japan by establishing an all-in-one service that detects cases early and connects patients to hospitals. On October 4, 2024, we held a joint press event with YKK AP Co., Ltd., Daito Kentaku Co., Ltd., NTT Docomo Ventures, Inc., Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., and others who invest in TFH as business partners. We have launched a cross-industry platform to work on social implementation of models for early detection of sudden changes in living spaces such as falls and risks of diseases such as dementia.
