[Systems (Systems Department)] • [Infrastructure Operations] We handle security measures for the SUMCO Group, including overseas operations, and plan, build, and manage network and computer infrastructure. • [Application Operations] We contribute to in-house production support and operational efficiency through program improvements to computer systems at each business site and headquarters, and also promote the introduction of the latest IT technologies. [ICT Technology (ICT Promotion Department)] • We aim to improve quality, operational efficiency, and reduce workload through the use of AI and BI tools. Specifically, this includes research and implementation for AI application, research on general-purpose ICT technologies, and planning, designing, and implementing their application to business operations. We also use these tools to consider process flow changes and new functions in technology and quality service-related systems, as well as system database maintenance, operation monitoring, and product flow monitoring in case of trouble.
