Work Detail

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for the laser and optical systems, key components of our Mission Unit. *This role involves mechanical and structural design, assembly verification, testing, and manufacturing of pulsed solid-state laser oscillators and laser optical systems for satellite installation.* Additionally, candidates with analytical skills will have a broader scope of work. ● Design, evaluation, verification, and testing of laser oscillator (including other components) housing structures capable of withstanding launch and space environments (mechanical environmental testing, thermal vacuum testing, etc.) ● Design, evaluation, verification, and testing of optical component holding mechanisms/structures capable of withstanding launch and space environments (mechanical environmental testing, thermal environmental testing, etc.) ● Design and verification of heat dissipation/insulation structures and systems in collaboration with thermal design engineers ● Development support for instrumentation systems (wiring, etc.) ● Design and development of jigs and fixtures related to the assembly, evaluation testing, and launch preparation of the Mission Unit, including lasers.

Ideal Profile

【Required/MUST】 ● Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Science ● Practical experience with 3DCAD ● Basic knowledge of materials mechanics and structural mechanics 【Preferred/WANT】 ● Basic knowledge and experience with lasers ● Basic knowledge of heat transfer engineering ● Practical experience in laser device development ● Practical experience in precision mechanical design of laser optical systems ● Practical experience in mechanical design of optical, electrical, and thermal components ● Practical experience with 3DCAE ● Practical experience in thermal, structural, and vibration analysis (FEM) ● Experience in the space industry 【Other】 ● Passion for new technology development: Someone who is interested in laser and optical technology, willing to take on unknown phenomena, and persistently pursues solutions ● Customer-oriented technological innovation: Someone who is committed to challenging new technologies to realize customer value, responding quickly to development challenges, and delivering results ● Analytical skills and prioritization: Someone who can logically analyze problems, prioritize them considering the effectiveness and feasibility of countermeasures, and take action ● Information gathering and analysis skills: Individuals who are sensitive to market and academic trends, actively gather and analyze information, and can utilize their knowledge. ● Teamwork and communication skills: Individuals who can collaborate with teams and clients, communicate smoothly, and find enjoyment in tackling problem-solving.
