Work Detail
Our company is a deep tech startup originating from Osaka University, developing a commercial laser fusion reactor. In this position, you will need to understand optics, electrical systems, and mechanical mechanisms, and perform tasks while discussing the integration of applied technologies with various development departments. [Specific Job Responsibilities] * Design, fabrication, and execution of high-intensity laser irradiation system experiments * Design, fabrication, and execution of high-power laser processing systems * Mechanical design and fabrication * Electrical circuit design and fabrication * Experimental analysis, data analysis, and simulation [Background of Recruitment] We need individuals who can integrate various development elements and build integrated systems to achieve our objectives. We require individuals who understand optics, mechanics, electricity, and basic physics, and who can perform integrated design of technologies, including exploring development elements, to realize those technologies.
Ideal Profile
Required Skills *Applicants must have experience in at least three of the following areas and a strong desire to pursue them: * Knowledge of high-intensity laser optics (femtosecond and nanosecond), especially knowledge of the interaction between light and matter (not just specific phenomena, but a comprehensive understanding) * Experience in optics, such as actually assembling lasers * Mechanical knowledge to design necessary equipment (familiar with CAD, JIS, and other industrial standards) * Ability to create simple numerical calculation programs * Confidence in solving problems using various methodologies, regardless of programming language or software. Preferred Skills * Experience in any of the following: * Experience in numerical calculation (understanding of principles) * Experience in mechanical design * Experience in designing and manufacturing electrical circuits * Experience in optical system design (not simply an end-user) Desired Candidate Profile * A positive attitude * Someone who has ideas for various things and is not afraid to take on challenges
