Analog Electrical Circuit Module Development Engineer

Work Detail

We are seeking development engineers for analog circuit modules to drive various lasers. ● Organizing the driving conditions (voltage, current, etc.) for semiconductor lasers, fiber lasers, and solid-state lasers. Since laser development is also progressing in parallel, you will work with the laser team to finalize specifications. ● Considering circuit designs that prioritize small size and light weight. ● Investigating usable radiation-resistant components. ● Analog circuit design. This involves mixed circuits using microcontrollers, FPGAs, and ADC/DACs. Verification will primarily be done using SPICE. ADS is not mandatory, but proficiency is a plus. ● This is the most crucial stage of analog circuit design. Wiring, ground planes, power supply, crosstalk. ● Handling high voltage and high current. ● Structural design will be done in collaboration with the in-house structural design team and external contractors. ● Use of laboratories within RIKEN (the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research) is available. ● We are currently setting up a laboratory in Kawasaki. ● Completing laser drive modules for satellite mounting.

Ideal Profile

[Required/MUST] ● Analog electronic and electrical circuit design, including negative feedback control [Preferred/WANT] ● Experience using microcontrollers and FPGAs ● Experience in analog circuit board layout design ● Experience in EMC evaluation and countermeasures ● Experience in product management ● Experience in design using HFSS ● Experience using English in a professional setting ● Laser driving experience
