[Overview] Towards Yanmar Group's goal of a decarbonized society in the off-road sector, you will be responsible for research and development on the utilization of decarbonized fuels (CF/CN fuels) such as hydrogen, tailored to diverse applications including mobility sectors such as ships, agricultural machinery, and construction machinery, and stationary facility sectors such as generators and air conditioners. [Responsibilities] (1) Research and development on the selection of CF/CN fuels usable under the operating environment of each application, and on energy storage, energy reforming, energy conversion, and exhaust aftertreatment appropriate to those fuels. (2) Strategic planning for the same. Ideal Profile

Eligibility Requirements [One of the following is required] ① Process Engineering/Reaction Engineering Field…Approximately 3 years Skills to control the heat and fluid acting according to the target fuel, change the state of the fuel according to the requirements of the equipment, and rationally convert energy into work (shaft power, heat, electricity). ② Fuel Cell Selection/Evaluation Skills…Approximately 3 years Knowledge of fuel cells, which are socially expected to be a hydrogen energy conversion technology, and practical experience in selection/evaluation. ③ Knowledge of Decarbonization Trends in the Energy Sector…Approximately 3 years A certain level of understanding of global players involved in the utilization of CF/CN fuels and their trends, and familiarity with information that contributes to decarbonization-related strategy planning. [Preferred] ◎ Candidates with a PhD, Professional Engineer, or Energy Management Engineer qualification. [Required Industry Experience] Practical experience in research and development. Experience in strategy planning is a plus. [Desirable Industry Experience] Passenger car/commercial vehicle manufacturing, energy equipment manufacturing, fuel cell manufacturing [English Proficiency] TOEIC: 600 points or higher
