[About Engineering Positions] Weather News' engineering is the process of integrating vast amounts of observational data from around the world with the latest AI technology to derive the "optimal solution" for society. To transform the uncertain natural phenomenon of weather into "reliable information" that everyone can trust, we are building "weather services" optimized for the AI ​​era from scratch. [Data Scientist] "Creating social value by analyzing vast amounts of weather data through statistics, testing, and visualization." To maximize the use of vast amounts of weather data both inside and outside the company, we incorporate methods such as statistics, testing, and visualization to create social value. *Weather News is the world's largest private weather information company, headquartered in Japan, providing weather, climate content, and risk communication services to 21 countries, 30 locations, and 45 markets worldwide. We analyze vast amounts of weather observation data collected from around the world and utilize our unique prediction models to provide highly accurate weather forecasts.

Work Location

Work hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (60-minute break). Shift work and flexible working hours may be available depending on the nature of the work. Holidays: Complete two-day weekend (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays, New Year's holidays (December 29th to January 3rd). For shift work, the number of days off will be determined by the day of the week. Other benefits include annual paid leave (11 days granted on October 1st for those hired on April 1st), bereavement leave, sick leave, child care leave, family care leave, menstrual leave, and volunteer leave.
